The first vaginal insert for fecal incontinence has been approved by the FDA. The Eclipse System is a revolutionary product for the millions of women who suffer from fecal incontinence (losing gas or stool when you don’t want to). Inserted vaginally, the Eclipse System is relatively simple to use and is a long overdue treatment for a debilitating condition.
Good news, coffee
addicts lovers! This month’s Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers and Prevention published findings that showed an inverse relationship between coffee intake and uterine cancer. In plain English, more coffee = lower risk of cancer of the uterus. As a woman with a long, deep, and abiding love for coffee, I was thrilled with this study’s results. However, like I said before, always remember to take new findings with a grain of salt (or a granule of coffee, in this case). The possible effects of coffee on other diseases are not entirely clear. (Seriously, google “coffee and heart disease” and you’ll see what I mean; coffee is really, really good for your heart in one article and really, really bad for your heart in another. Some articles tell you that coffee is good and bad!) For information on coffee and health, read this.
